Two robbers were killed on the spot as a result of police retaliatory fire.
Karachi: Two suspects were killed and one was arrested in an exchange of fire between police and robbers in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 16-A of Shahr-e-Quaid area.
According to the police, the deceased suspects have been identified as Mehran and Jahangir, while the injured suspect is Muzammil.
According to SHO Shahrah-e-Faisal Police Station, Inspector Faisal Gul, a police mobile was present near Lal Flat on Rashid Minhas Road when two citizens on a motorcycle reported the presence of robbers.
The police personnel took immediate action and chased the suspects, on which the robbers opened fire.
As a result of the police’s retaliatory fire, two robbers were killed on the spot, while the third was arrested in an injured condition.
According to Inspector Faisal Gul, three pistols, stolen mobile phones and a motorcycle have been recovered from the scene.
