US, protests against immigration policy spread to other states, hundreds arrested

New York: The ongoing protests in Los Angeles against strict immigration policies in the United States have spread to different states.

Similarly, 150 protesters were detained in San Francisco, 17 in Chicago and 330 in southern California.

In view of the protests, the governor of Texas has announced the deployment of the National Guard in the state. Meanwhile, considering the seriousness of the situation in Los Angeles, the army has been given the authority to detain citizens.

According to American media, 700 Marines and 4,000 National Guard personnel have been deployed in Los Angeles.

Protesters are demanding an end to inhumane immigration policies and justice for asylum seekers.
