International flights face no obstacles in passing through Pakistani airspace, officials say
Karachi: Due to the closure of Iranian airspace after the Israeli aggression on Iran, PIA has changed the flight plan of flights to Toronto and Paris, including Gulf countries.
According to a PIA spokesperson, flights to the Gulf are using Omani airspace, flights to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the UAE are passing through the Muscat Flight Information Region, flights to Toronto and Paris are using Omani airspace.
Pakistan Airports Authority officials say that despite the security situation in the region, Pakistan’s airspace is being used effectively, and additional air traffic is being handled in a professional manner as usual.
The Pakistan Airports Authority has said that international flights are not facing any obstacles in passing through Pakistan’s airspace, and additional air traffic is being handled effectively through effective airspace management.
