A total of 72 toll plazas have been planned for public auction, says NHA spokesperson
ISLAMABAD:
The open auction of toll plazas on the busiest highways of the country is being organized by the NHA at the Jinnah Convention Center.
According to the NHA spokesperson, a total of 72 toll plazas have been planned for public auction. To ensure transparency, the media has been specially invited. Chairman NHA Shehryar Sultan is supervising the auction.
The public auction has been organized on the special instructions of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Communications, in which transparency and ease of participation have been ensured. A large number of interested parties are participating in the auction.
The participants praised the NHA for conducting the first-ever public auction. The participants said that the transparent auction will increase the confidence of the general investors, investors and businessmen are happy with this step.
