The Israeli military claims to have shot down two Iranian drones, which were intercepted near the Jordanian border.
Iran fired missiles at Israel in retaliation for US attacks on its nuclear facilities, causing explosions in Tel Aviv and occupied Jerusalem.
According to Israeli media, 11 people were injured in these attacks.
According to Reuters, Iran fired missiles at Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in response to the US action, the sounds of which were heard throughout the city.
According to Al Jazeera, the Israeli military has claimed to have shot down two Iranian drones, which were intercepted near the Jordanian border.
The Israeli Airports Authority has closed its airspace until further notice in view of the increasing threats, however, land routes to Jordan and Egypt are open.
The Jordanian government has also sounded sirens across the country in view of the danger so that citizens remain alert.
