India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan, we are responding with modern warfare strategies, says Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif
Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, while discussing with different religious and social circles in Karachi, said that only the state can declare jihad, no individual or group has the authority.
According to the report, different religious and social circles warmly welcomed the DG ISPR and expressed their full solidarity with him.
The DG ISPR said that followers of all religions in Pakistan are equal citizens, and they have full constitutional rights, because national unity is maintained only through equality and harmony.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said that India is supporting terrorism in Pakistan, the Pakistan Army is responding to the enemy with modern war strategy, ethnic or linguistic hatred is ignorance, all Pakistanis are equal, if we remain united, no force can defeat us.
He said that only the state can declare jihad, no individual or group has this authority.
Representatives of different religions and social classes described the meeting with the DG ISPR as valuable, thanked him and expressed the wish that such meetings should continue in the future.
