Karachi: Earthquake tremors were felt in and around Quaidabad area of Shehr-e-Quaid, which caused panic among the citizens.
According to the Seismological Center, the tremors were felt at 3:14 pm.
According to reports, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale and its depth was 8 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was in the Malir area, which is located in the southeastern part of Karachi.
According to initial reports, no loss of life or property was reported in the earthquake. However, citizens immediately came out of their buildings and offices and started gathering on the streets.
After being felt for a few moments, the tremors stopped immediately, but hesitation and anxiety were found among the citizens.
