Karachi, Rangers and police joint operation, two most wanted suspects arrested

The arrested suspects belong to MQM (London) and are involved in several serious crimes.

Karachi: Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and police, in a joint operation based on intelligence inputs, arrested two most wanted suspects, Muhammad Shahab Khan alias “Kara” and Mansoor Alam alias “Chirkut”, from Saudabad area of ​​Karachi and near the airport.

The arrested suspects belong to MQM (London) and are involved in several serious crimes.

During the operation by Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) and police, an auto rickshaw, two mobile phones and cash were recovered from the possession of the suspects.

The previous record of the suspects indicates that they are habitual criminals, and they have been arrested several times by the police and security forces in the past.

During the initial investigation, the accused Mansoor Alam confessed that he had joined a political party in the year 2011 and was involved in the party’s activities, which included wall chalking, putting up banners and collecting donations.

To avoid arrest during the Karachi operation, he started driving a rickshaw and used it to transport gutka, mawa and drugs.

On the other hand, accused Muhammad Shahab Khan said that he worked as a control in-charge in a private factory and was involved in street crime part-time. The accused admitted that he had been arrested and sent to jail several times.

The arrested accused committed several street crimes in different areas of Karachi such as Malir, Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi and Korangi. It has also been revealed that they were involved in robberies at three private milk shops.

The accused have confessed to looting Rs 400,000 and 40 to 50 mobile phones at gunpoint in street crimes and robberies.

The arrested accused Muhammad Shahab Khan and Mansoor Alam have been handed over to the police for further legal action along with the stolen goods.

The names of the public will be kept confidential.
