Beijing strongly condemns US attacks, Chinese envoy says
New York: The United Nations headquarters in New York has been discussing US intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict for the past few hours.
In the meeting, Russia, China and Pakistan called on the 15-member Security Council to adopt a resolution calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in the Middle East.

Danny Danon said that the whole world should thank Trump for attacking Iran. He accused Iran of turning the talks into theater and Trump took the necessary action.
Iran’s permanent representative Amir Saeed Eravani
Eravani condemned the open US aggression and said that Washington attacked under a fabricated and baseless pretext. He said that this US attack is a serious threat to world peace.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative Asim Iftikhar
At the emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative, Asim Iftikhar, strongly supported Pakistan’s principled position and said that Pakistan would continue to fulfill its responsibilities for the promotion of international peace and security in accordance with the UN Charter.
China’s Permanent Representative Fu Kong
Fu Kong said that Beijing strongly condemns the US attacks and China prioritizes peace efforts in this conflict. China has demanded that the UN investigate the US attack.
Russia’s Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzia
Nebenzia said that the US has opened a Pandora’s box and Washington is clearly not interested in diplomacy. He added that this will lead to further instability in the Middle East.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres
Antonio Guterres called the US attacks a dangerous turning point in an already restless region. He demanded that the international community end another cycle of destruction and immediately resume peace efforts.
