For your safety, immediately evacuate to the ‘Al-Mawasi’ area in the south, Israeli army spokesman
The Israeli army has issued new evacuation orders for residents in several areas of Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera, the affected areas include the municipalities of Nussirat, Zahra, Maghreqah and the northern coastal strip, as well as neighborhoods such as Al-Naz’a, Al-Bawadi, Al-Basma, Al-Zahra, Al-Basatin, Badr, Abu Hurairah, Al-Rawdha and Al-Safa.
“For your safety, immediately evacuate to the ‘Al-Mawasi’ area in the south and do not return to areas that have been affected by the fighting,” Avichoy Idraei, the Israeli army’s Arabic-language spokesman, said in a message on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
According to the spokesman, the Israeli army is carrying out operations in these areas with intense force in order to “completely eliminate the organizational capabilities, as all these areas are being used for rocket fire.”
It should be remembered that millions of Palestinian civilians in Gaza are already suffering from forced displacement, heavy bombardment and a humanitarian crisis. Human rights organizations have called for an immediate ceasefire, calling these measures a clear violation of international law.
The United Nations and other international organizations have expressed concern over these displacement orders, warning that they will not only exacerbate the humanitarian tragedy but also make access to basic necessities of life more difficult.
