Karachi: After the Dhabeji pumping station, some areas of Scheme 33 will be affected due to the power breakdown at the North East Karachi Old Pump House by K-Electric.
According to the spokesperson of the Water Board, it has been 60 hours since the power breakdown at the Dhabeji pumping station, the fault has not been corrected yet.
Due to the power breakdown, 2 pumps of the K-3 pump house are still down, the shutdown of 2 pumps has severely affected water supply in many areas of the city.
In the last 60 hours, the city has faced a shortage of 220 million gallons of water. The power breakdown at the Dhabeji pumping station occurred at 10 pm on June 26.
