Turkish Airlines makes emergency landing at Lahore airport, passengers scared due to technical failure

The pilot skillfully landed the plane after requesting permission to return to landing from air traffic control.

Lahore: A Turkish Airlines flight made an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Passengers were scared due to a technical fault in the plane.

A Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul had to make an emergency landing at Allama Iqbal International Airport, the international airport of the provincial capital Lahore, due to a technical fault immediately after takeoff.

According to airport sources, as soon as the flight took off, the plane developed a technical fault, upon which the pilot immediately contacted the air traffic controller and sought permission to return.

After receiving immediate permission from the air traffic control, the pilot demonstrated skill and responsibility and safely landed the plane back at Lahore Airport. After landing, the plane was moved to the parking area, where aircraft engineers immediately started a technical inspection of the plane.

All passengers on the flight have been safely deplaned and transferred to the lounge, where they are awaiting further announcements.
