We have sent a letter of recommendation to the Nobel Committee, says Israeli Prime Minister
Washington: An important meeting and dinner was held at the White House between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which global peace, the situation in the Middle East and mutual cooperation were discussed in detail.
On this occasion, Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that he had officially nominated President Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize.
He said that President Trump has played a leading role in resolving several global conflicts, and this role makes him a true deserving recipient of the Nobel Prize. We have sent a letter of recommendation to the Nobel Committee.
During the dinner, President Trump discussed the tension between Pakistan and India, the progress of negotiations with Iran and the security of Israel, saying that we have prevented many wars in the world, and a positive negotiation roadmap has been prepared with Iran.
President Trump said that we hope that the Israel-Iran tension has ended and there will be no need for any further attacks.
On the question of Palestine, President Trump said that the cooperation of Israel’s neighboring countries has been commendable. However, on the question of a two-state solution, he said that he cannot make any claims about this, the situation is constantly changing.
The Israeli Prime Minister said that the search for a better future for the Palestinians is ongoing, and his government, together with the United States, is looking for countries that can provide a better future and opportunities for Palestinian citizens.
It should be noted that earlier, the Pakistani government had also decided to nominate President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize 2026, appreciating his diplomatic intervention during the Pak-India crisis. This nomination was officially sent to the Norwegian Nobel Committee.
Similarly, a Republican member of Congress also nominated President Trump for the Nobel Prize in recognition of his role in reducing Iran-Israel tensions.
