Islamabad Police divers and Shahzad Town Police teams rescued 6 members of a family, including 3 children, who were trapped in floodwaters.
Water had entered the houses due to the overflowing of the Korang drain. Two men, a woman and three young children were trapped in the house.
Police teams responded promptly as soon as the call was received on Rescue 15.
IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi congratulated the police teams and also announced rewards.
