Several officers have been immediately transferred and assigned new responsibilities.
Lahore: Secretary Forests, Wildlife and Fisheries Punjab Mudassar Riaz Malik has issued orders for extensive appointments and transfers in the Wildlife Department on the recommendations of Chief Wildlife Ranger Mubeen Elahi.
According to the announcement issued, several officers have been immediately transferred and assigned new responsibilities, while some have been given additional charges on an interim basis so that there is no hindrance in the execution of affairs in the absence of officers under training.
According to the details, Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger Rawalpindi Region Ehsan Ahmed Raja and Gujranwala Region Zahid Iqbal Sheikh have been immediately transferred and directed to report to the head office. Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger of Gujrat Region Arfa Batool has been transferred to Rawalpindi Region, while Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger of Lahore Region Asim Kamran has been sent to Gujranwala Region.
Similarly, Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger District Mandi Bahauddin Syed Usmanul Hassan has been given additional charge of Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger in Gujrat Region. Arshad Naz of Narowal District has been given additional charge in Gujranwala till the completion of training of ACWR Miss Maryam Faiz. Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger District Rawalpindi Rizwana Aziz has been posted in Attock District till the completion of training of ACWR Shahzeb.
Furthermore, Muhammad Imran of Chakwal District has been given interim charge in Mianwali, Shahbaz Anwar Mann of Okara District has been given interim charge in Sahiwal, and Muhammad Taimur of Jhelum Headquarters has been given interim charge in Jhelum District. Similarly, Syed Ali Usman Bukhari, who is currently working as Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger Bahawalpur, has been given additional charge of District Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger Bahawalpur.
In addition, Muhammad Ashfaq has been given the additional charge of Layyah District, Muhammad Saleem has been given the additional charge of Bhakkar District, Aamir Jamil has been given the additional charge of Kasur District, Nimra Rashid has been given the additional charge of Bahawalpur District Headquarters, and Mujahid Kaleem has been given the additional charge of Assistant Chief Wildlife Ranger Protection Force Cholistan.
According to sources in the Wildlife Department, these appointments and transfers have been made to improve administrative efficiency and ensure effective monitoring in the field. It is expected that this move will further improve wildlife conservation activities.
