No written complaint was received from the PPP candidate.
SIALKOT: The Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab has taken notice of the allegations made by the PPP candidate from PP-52 Sialkot in a video message on social media.
According to the Election Commission, the PPP candidate made serious allegations about the election process in his video message, however, he neither filed a complaint in any relevant forum nor presented any evidence in support of his claims.
On this matter, the Provincial Election Commissioner immediately sought details from the concerned District Monitoring Officer (DMO) and issued orders to submit a report.
The District Monitoring Officer clarified in his report that no written complaint was received from the PPP candidate and no evidence or concrete information was provided along with the allegations made in the video message released on social media.
According to the District Monitoring Officer, the candidate’s allegations are baseless and unsubstantiated.
