Babar Azam was declared the ‘greatest’ player of the decade, but by whom?

There is no bigger name in the Pakistani team than Babar Azam at the moment, says former captain

Former Australian captain Aaron Finch has called the national team’s middle-order batsman Babar Azam the greatest player of the decade.

During an interview, former Australian captain Aaron Finch was asked about the Sydney Sixers’ inclusion of Babar Azam in the Big Bash League (BBL).

Responding to which, Aaron Finch said that there is no bigger name among Pakistani players than Babar Azam at the moment, he has emerged as the greatest player of the decade.

He said that Babar Azam has given a befitting reply to critics by showing his best performance around the world, our fans would love to see players like him playing on Australian soil.

On this occasion, the former opening batsman also praised Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi and declared him the match-winner.

It should be noted that Babar Azam was selected in the Platinum category in the current edition of the Big Bash League.

Former national team captain Babar Azam has been made a part of the Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Sydney Sixers for $420,000 (more than 118.8 million in Pakistani rupees).

On the other hand, Babar Azam has been left out of the Pakistani team due to his continuous poor form and performance.
