Mohsin Naqvi directs FIA to take indiscriminate action against mafia without accepting any pressure
Karachi: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered a crackdown on the Hawala Hundi mafia and directed that the bigwigs involved in it be arrested.
While presiding over an important meeting on the occasion of his visit to the FIA Karachi zone, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has ordered an effective crackdown on the Hawala Hundi mafia and said that the bigwigs involved in Hawala Hundi should be arrested.
He said that action should be taken against the mafia without accepting any pressure from anyone. The Interior Minister ordered the crackdown on the agent mafia that sends beggars abroad and said that the beggar mafia is tarnishing the image of Pakistan. Indiscriminate action should be taken against the agents. The fugitive agents should be arrested with the cooperation of other provinces.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the arrest of beggars who are deported from abroad should be ensured. The business of fake medicines will not be tolerated under any circumstances. People involved in the heinous business of fake medicines should be dealt with with an iron hand. The real place for people involved in the counterfeit medicine business is jail,
He ordered strict action against non-customs products and directed that strict action be taken against passengers carrying more than $5,000 abroad. In addition, strict action should be taken against such passengers as per the law.
On this occasion, Director Karachi Zone Noman Siddique briefed Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and informed him about the performance and issues of FIA Karachi Zone.
Additional Director General FIA South Mujahid Akbar Khan, Director FIA Karachi Zone Noman Siddique, Deputy Director Anti-Money Laundering, Deputy Director Immigration, Deputy Director Anti-Corruption, all Assistant Directors and officials of FIA South were present in the meeting.
