Coaster plunges into deep gorge due to slippage on motorway; 17 passengers injured

According to initial reports, the coaster became uncontrollable due to slipping, and the injured were taken to the hospital.

Rawalpindi: Coaster skids into deep gorge on motorway, injuring 17 passengers.

According to Rescue 1122, a tragic traffic accident took place on Motorway M-1 between Brahma and Sangjani, where a passenger coaster skidded due to rain and went out of control, injuring 17 people.

Upon receiving information about the accident, rescue teams of Rescue 1122 Rawalpindi immediately reached the spot and provided first aid to the injured.

According to rescue officials, 6 of the injured were shifted to PIMS Hospital in Islamabad, while 5 injured were shifted to Wah General Hospital, where they are being provided further medical facilities.

According to Rescue 1122, the remaining 6 injured were discharged after providing first aid at the scene of the accident.

Initial investigations have revealed that the cause of the accident was slippery road conditions due to rain, which caused the coaster to go out of control and plunge into the deep water.

The relevant authorities have launched a full investigation into the accident so that effective measures can be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
