Islamabad local court orders YouTube to block channels on FIA request
A local court in Islamabad has ordered the blocking of 27 YouTube channels.
According to the report, the court ordered YouTube to block the channels on the request of the FIA.
Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah heard the FIA’s request to block the YouTube channel and issued a 2-page written order.
The court ordered the blocking of 27 YouTube channels and said in its order that the FIA had started an inquiry on June 2 regarding anti-state content.
The court said that the court is satisfied with the evidence provided by the FIA and can take action according to the law.
In the order, the court said that the officer-in-charge of YouTube is ordered to block 27 YouTube channels.
