District Health Officer Shamsur Rahman Dawar gave last warning to absent employees and said Dismissal order will be issued if they do not join their duties
South Waziristan Upper (01 June 2024) District Health Officer Shamsur Rahman Dawar’s last warning to absent employees Dismissal order issued if they do not appear within fifteen days and said that if the employees from different departments in the hospitals of Upper South Waziristan do not ensure their attendance as soon as possible, strict legal action will be taken against them and they will be dismissed from their jobs.
The people of the region appreciated the initiative of the District Health Officer and also announced their full support. He said that despite the presence of health department centers in the area, children, the elderly and especially pregnant women have to be taken to the hospitals in the other districts for treatment.
The leaders of South Waziristan Upper also welcomed the initiative of the District Health Officer Shamsur Rahman and demanded that the attendance of the absent employees from the government hospitals should be ensured and in case of absence, they are also in favor of dismissal permanently. He said that we are sorry that on the one hand, millions of rupees are being taken from the government and on the other hand, they are preferring to completely disappear from their duties. He also said that such employees should be recruited who are honest and friendly, who can distinguish between halal and haram.
He said that these employees are paid with public tax money so that they can take care of the citizens. They can provide first aid, but due to them, even in case of fever, they are forced to go to other districts hundreds of kilometers away for treatment.
