The report also said that Musk often carried a box full of medication with him.
Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk has denied using drugs, calling a US newspaper report about him a “bunch of lies”.
The New York Times claimed that Elon Musk used large amounts of ketamine, ecstasy and mushrooms during his 2024 presidential campaign, which negatively affected his health.
The report also said that Musk often carried a box full of drugs with him and that he may have used drugs while playing a key role in US President Donald Trump’s administration.
Elon Musk responded to X (formerly Twitter) by saying: “Let me be clear: I am not doing any drugs! The New York Times is completely lying.”
He admitted that a few years ago he used ketamine under a doctor’s prescription to help him cope with depression, but that he has long since stopped.
Elon Musk recently attended a White House press conference with President Trump with a swollen eye, sparking a media frenzy.
He explained that the injury occurred while playing with his son, when he jokingly told him to “hit me in the face” — and he did.
When a reporter asked President Trump about Musk’s drug use, he said, “I didn’t know about it, but Elon is a great person.”
Remember, Elon Musk has previously admitted to using ketamine and has found it helpful in improving his mood.
