Gilgit: A wedding procession vehicle fell into a river in Gilgit, killing six people including the groom.
According to rescue officials, a tragic accident took place in Chhilat Nagar, where six members of the same family, including the groom, lost their lives when the wedding procession vehicle fell into the river. The groom was going to pick up the bride with the procession, when the vehicle fell into the river while taking a turn.
Officials say that the bodies of three people have been recovered so far, and the rescue operation is underway.
