Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has said that if Israel stops its attacks on Iran, Iran will also stop its counterattacks.
“If the aggression stops, our counterattacks will also stop,” Araqchi said at a press conference with diplomats in Tehran.
This was Abbas Araqchi’s first public meeting since the Israeli attacks began.
He said that Iran suspects the involvement of the United States in the attacks on Iran and that it is difficult to believe the US denials about the attack on the Natanz nuclear facility.
He added that Iran does not want the tension with Israel to spread to neighboring countries unless Iran is forced to.
According to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Iran’s response to Israel was entirely in self-defense.
On Sunday, Israel continued airstrikes in various parts of Iran for the third day, while Iranian missiles dodged Israeli defense systems and destroyed buildings in key areas of the country.
