The BRICS summit declaration condemned the Pahalgam incident but did not name Pakistan.
India suffered another diplomatic setback at the BRICS summit in Brazil when the declaration condemned the Pahalgam incident, but despite the efforts of the Modi government, Pakistan was not named.
According to the report, India had tried hard to include Pakistan’s name in the Pahalgam incident, the BRICS declaration has proven to be another clear diplomatic failure of India.
The words in the BRICS declaration were kept completely neutral, the heads of two important countries, China and Russia, did not attend the BRICS meeting, this is the first time since 2012 that the Chinese president did not attend this important meeting.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also did not attend the meeting, this non-participation proves that China and Russia are not in favor of reinforcing the Indian narrative, this is not the first time that India has faced such a diplomatic failure.
India’s attempt at the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) also failed, the Indian propaganda to keep Pakistan on the grey list could not prove fruitful.
India also faced failure in the declaration of the Quad foreign ministers’ meeting. The Quad declaration condemned the Pahalgam incident but did not mention Pakistan.
India also faced reluctance in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting on June 26. India’s anti-Pakistan efforts in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization declaration also failed.
No country stood by India when the Pahalgam incident was linked to Pakistan.
