India under Modi rule is engulfed in linguistic and religious hatred
Modi’s India is divided into linguistic divisions, extremist Modi has put India on the path of linguistic, religious and class civil war.
After the hooliganism of cow vigilantes in Modi’s India, linguistic terrorism has now become common.
According to an NDTV report, “Mumbai’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) goons severely tortured a food stall owner for not speaking Marathi.”
Traders in the area protested vehemently and demanded strict action against the attackers.
Raj Thackeray’s MNS propagates Marathi monopoly and Hindutva ideology through hatred and violence. Linguistic prejudice and religious fanaticism have been the main axis of Raj Thackeray’s politics, which is now being openly adopted.
Modi’s rule provided such a conducive environment where an extremist party like MNS could openly commit atrocities and abuses on the basis of language.
Today’s India is drowning in the poison of linguistic hooliganism, religious fanaticism and casteism. The Hindutva craze in India has now gone beyond the cow, the call to prayer and the slogans of Jai Shri Ram and has come to linguistics.
