According to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the US has committed a serious and unprecedented violation of international law by attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry said in its statement: “The world should not forget that the greatest betrayal during the diplomatic process was committed by the US, which supported Israel’s aggression and launched a dangerous war against Iran.”
The statement added: “It has become clear that the US is not bound by any rules, ethics or international principles. It can go to any extent for the purposes of a genocidal and occupying state.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stressed: “The Islamic Republic of Iran has the right to resist US attacks and this criminal state with full determination and strength to defend its national interests and security.”
