Iranian Foreign Minister categorically denies Trump’s claim of talks

Iran is not currently participating in any new negotiation process, Abbas Araqchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has rejected US President Donald Trump’s claim that talks with Iran could take place next week.

In an interview with Iranian state TV, Araqchi clarified: “There is no agreement, no preparation for talks, and no discussions. This claim is completely baseless.”

He added that Iran is not currently participating in any new negotiation process and that there are no prior arrangements or behind-the-scenes discussions.

It should be recalled that during the NATO summit, US President Donald Trump told reporters: “Both Iran and Israel are tired of war. There will be talks with Iran next week, and it is possible that an agreement will be signed.”

Trump also said that he was not relying solely on Israeli intelligence, but that pressure on Iran would be maintained.
