Modi government wants to eradicate Urdu from India by declaring it only the language of Muslims.
Lahore: Another incident of hostility towards Muslims and Pakistan under the patronage of the Hindutva extremist government in India has come to light.
Delhi University is one of the most famous Indian universities where more than one lakh students are studying. When the university recently started graduation admissions, it removed Urdu from the box under “Mother Language” in the online form and added the word “Muslim”.
Conscientious Indian intellectuals protested strongly against this mischief and said that the Modi government wants to eradicate Urdu from India by declaring it only the language of Muslims, even though crores of non-Muslims also speak and write it. Urdu was born in India and it is a bright sign of our great civilization and civilization.
Following strong protests, the university administration removed the word “Muslim” from the box under “Mother Language” and called it a “clerk’s mistake”.
