Dr. Hamdi Al-Najjar, who was injured in the Israeli attack, succumbed to his injuries and died.
Israeli forces bombed a US-backed aid center in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, killing at least 31 Palestinians and wounding more than 120.
The incident comes at a time when Gaza is being described as the “hungriest region in the world.”
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, more than 54,000 Palestinians have been killed and 124,000 injured in the war that has been going on since October 2023. While the Gaza government says the death toll has exceeded 61,700.
In another tragic incident, Dr. Hamdi al-Najjar, who was injured in an Israeli attack, succumbed to his injuries. Nine of his children were also killed in the attack, with only his 11-year-old son surviving.
According to the Gaza government, targeting aid centers is actually turning them into “death traps” with the aim of deliberately targeting civilians. The United States is also being held responsible for this, as it provides financial and political support to these centers.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Foreign Minister has arrived in Jordan so that steps can be taken to prevent Israeli attacks on Gaza at a meeting of Arab foreign ministers.
On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is being severely criticized not only domestically but also by close allies such as Germany, France and Britain.
