TEL AVIV: The Israeli military has claimed in a recent statement that it has targeted more than 20 senior military commanders of the Iranian forces, including the Revolutionary Guards, during the ongoing airstrikes on Iran.
Foreign media quoted the Zionist forces in a statement that several important military officials have allegedly been killed in the Israeli airstrike.
The statement said that we carried out successful attacks on command and control centers, weapons warehouses and military headquarters located in Tehran and other important areas, as a result of which Iranian forces suffered heavy casualties.
However, the Iranian government has not confirmed or denied this claim and has only said officially that the attacks are ongoing and the defense system is fully operational.
The Iranian Ministry of Defense says that the nature of the attacks and the damages are being assessed.
