The international community must immediately stop Israel and hold the aggressor accountable, the Foreign Office said.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has termed the Israeli attacks on Iran as aggression and said that this action is a threat to regional peace and Iran has the full right to defend itself in this regard.
Pakistan has strongly condemned the unjustified aggression carried out by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran and has called on the international community to immediately stop Israel’s aggression.
The Foreign Office spokesperson has said that the Israeli military attacks are a serious violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. These attacks clearly negate the United Nations Charter and the fundamental principles of international law.
The statement emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the full right to defend itself under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. Pakistan, expressing full solidarity with the Iranian people, strongly condemned Israel’s open provocations.
The statement further said that such actions pose a very serious threat to the peace, security and stability of the entire region and may have far-reaching consequences.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged the international community and the United Nations to immediately defend international law, stop Israeli aggression, and hold the aggressor country accountable for its actions.
