Khamenei feared an attack on him, which led him to go into hiding, Israel Katz
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed in an interview that Israel had planned to target Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but the attack could not be carried out due to “lack of operational opportunity.”
In an interview with Israeli media, Israel Katz claimed that Khamenei feared an attack on him, which led him to go into hiding and cut off contact with Revolutionary Guard commanders.
He added that if Iran restarts its nuclear program, Israel can strike again and that it has a green signal from the United States for this. However, according to him, Iran does not currently have the ability to restore nuclear facilities.
This revelation comes at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel remain high after the recent ceasefire between the two countries, and Israel, with the support of the United States, is constantly monitoring Iran’s nuclear activities.
