South Waziristan Upper: (03 June 2024) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s membership campaign is formally started and prominent scholars and local leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam started the membership campaign by filling the membership forms.
A large number of workers from each tehsil and constituencies of South Waziristan Upper participated in the opening ceremony of membership, District Convenor Nazeem Elections Malik Sultan Mehsud gave important instructions about membership and announced district assistants and tehsil nazimins.
The membership was inaugurated by former MNA and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Ameer of the merged districts Maulana Jamaluddin, former Senator Maulana Salalah Shah, Central Assistant Election Commissioner Maulana Khanzala Mehsud, and Tehsil Chairman Taj Maluk.
On this occasion, the participants said that the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam will organize clean and transparent records in the upper tribal districts of South Waziristan. District Convener Malik Sultan Mehsud in his speech explained the rules and regulations of the organization and said that we will take everyone together and will announce conveners for all the tehsil as soon as possible.
The organizer of the campaign said that as per the instructions of the party, the membership drive is being started across the country today and the campaign will continue till July 25. People will also be invited to fill up the forms during membership so that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam emerges as a strong party in Upper South Waziristan.
At the end of the program, the scholars prayed for the prosperity and development of Upper South Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and for the security of the country.
