Kasur: A woman who had come to collect money from a committee in Chandni Chowk was gang-raped by three men after being given an intoxicating drink.
According to the victim’s family, a woman named Shahzadi had gone to a resident of Chandni Chowk named Asif to collect money from the committee.
According to the FIR, the accused Asif along with two of his friends made the woman drink an intoxicating drink, after which Asif and his two unknown friends sexually assaulted Shahzadi. When she regained consciousness, the accused also threatened to kill the woman.
Police station A Division registered a case against the accused on Shahzadi’s request.
The main accused Asif was arrested after registering a case. Police say that the plaintiff Shahzadi and the accused have old relations, while the matter seems to be a transaction.
