Judicial Magistrate summons Imran Khan on July 22 in Islamabad police attack case, arrest warrant issued
A local court in Lahore has ordered the personal appearance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and patron-in-chief Imran Khan.
In the case of an attack on Islamabad police outside the residence of the PTI founder in Model Town, Lahore, the Judicial Magistrate has ordered the PTI founder to be presented in person.
The Judicial Magistrate said in the order that the jail authorities should present the PTI founder in person by July 22.
Judicial Magistrate Cantt Sohail Rafique issued a summons to the Superintendent Camp Jail. The order states that the PTI founder, who is imprisoned in Adiala Jail, should be presented in person for the prosecution of the case.
The Judicial Magistrate also issued a summons along with the summons. It should be noted that the Islamabad Police has registered a case against the PTI founder at the Race Course Police Station.
