The German club defeated Flamengo 2-4 in the round of 16, with the English star netting in the ninth and 73rd minutes of the game.
In the sixth minute, rival player Erik Pulgar opened the German team’s account with an own goal, and Leon Goretzka scored the fourth goal in the 41st minute with a brilliant long-range kick.
Gerson and Jorginho reduced the deficit for the losing side, and Bayern will now face PSG, who defeated Inter Miami 0-4 in the round of 16, eliminating Lionel Messi’s team from the title race.
