19 modern awnings have been installed in the courtyard of the mosque, which reduce the temperature by an average of 10 degrees, while a special paint that reflects the sun’s heat has also been applied to the floor to reduce the intensity of the heat.
In addition, 117 fog fans have been installed in the outer courtyard, which cause a further 9 degrees of temperature reduction.

70 modern water coolers have been installed to provide cold water to the pilgrims, each of which has the capacity to provide water to about 2,000 pilgrims in an hour.
