On June 25, a clerk at the Indian Naval Headquarters was arrested for spying for Pakistan without any solid evidence. According to the Indian media “NDTV”; “The Intelligence Wing has refused to reveal the reasons behind the arrest of clerk Vishal Yadav.”

According to NDTV, the arrested clerk hails from Haryana and was posted as an upper division clerk at the Navy Headquarters. Despite Vishal Yadav’s arrest, it is still not clear what the nature of the information allegedly provided was. Despite serious allegations, evidence and details have not been made public. Vishal Yadav is accused of allegedly sharing sensitive information during Operation Sindoor.

Earlier, the Modi government had made a baseless accusation against a BJP-supporting YouTuber of spying for Pakistan. Blaming Pakistan without evidence is proof of the professional failure of Indian security agencies.
