No additional tax burden has been imposed on the common man in the budget, says Prime Minister

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the budget has not imposed any more tax burden on the common man, and the increase in salaries and reduction in taxes will provide relief to the employed.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the stock market reaching its highest level in history, 124,000 points, and said that the upward trend in the stock market is an expression of the confidence of investors and businessmen in the people-friendly budget.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the budget has not imposed any more tax burden on the common man, and the increase in salaries and reduction in taxes will provide relief to the employed. Alhamdulillah, the journey of the country’s economic development has begun. The people of Pakistan have made sacrifices.

The Prime Minister said that now we all have to work together to improve the lives of the common man. The reduction in the inflation rate, the increase in foreign exchange reserves, remittances and exports were made possible thanks to the day-to-day work of the economic team.

He said that Pakistan’s return from the brink of default, the beginning of the journey of economic stability and development is a miracle. Thanks to the hard work of the economic team and giving top priority to Pakistan’s interests, this exemplary economic turnaround will be written in golden letters in history.
