Appeal to the community to fully cooperate with polio teams, National EOC
The polio campaign is being launched in Diamer and three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from July 14 to 18.
According to the National EOC, the polio campaign will also start in Kohistan Upper, Kohistan Lower and Kolai Pals. The target has been set to vaccinate more than 158,000 children during the special polio campaign.
According to the statement issued by the National EOC, an effective strategy is being adopted with special focus on high-risk union councils. Parents are urged to ensure that their children are vaccinated against polio every time.
In addition, they should also complete their immunizations to prevent polio and other diseases. Polio vaccines are an effective means of protecting children from lifelong disabilities.
The organization also said that the community is appealed to fully cooperate with the polio teams.
