Past global diplomatic mistakes are written on the wall, says Jamaat-e-Islami deputy chief
Lahore: Deputy Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Liaquat Baloch, has said that it is a blunder for Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the government to recommend the Nobel Prize to US President Trump.
Liaquat Baloch said in his statement that the Army Chief’s meeting with Trump is a mistimed event, and the past global diplomatic mistakes are written on the wall.
Liaquat Baloch said that presenting the national budget in parliament on the strict conditions of the IMF is a futile exercise, and that electricity, gas and oil must be made cheaper for the development of agriculture.
He added that the growing political crisis in the country will create new dangers.
