Millions of children of Tawheed will listen to the Hajj sermon at the Nimrah Mosque (Arafat Square), and there will be special prayers for the Muslim Ummah.
Makkah: The main pillar of Hajj, the Wukuf of Arafat, will be performed today. After staying in Mina, millions of pilgrims, including 115,000 Pakistanis, are reaching Arafat Plain this morning where they will listen to the Hajj sermon at the Nimrah Mosque and offer Zuhr and Asr prayers together.
The Wukuf of Arafat will be held between Asr and Maghrib, in which the pilgrims will offer prayers to Allah Almighty by humming a tune. As the sun sets, the Gola will be played and without offering Maghrib prayers, the pilgrims will leave for Muzdalifah, where they will offer Maghrib and Isha prayers together.
After spending the night under the open sky, the pilgrims will offer Fajr prayers and return to their tents in Mina at sunrise.
They will throw 7 pebbles at the great devil, sacrifice, after shaving their heads, the pilgrims will take off their Ihram and put on their ordinary clothes. On 11th Dhul-Hijjah, the pilgrims will throw 7 pebbles each at the three devils: the small, medium and big devils.
After throwing the Jamarat, the pilgrims will go to the Kaaba for Tawaf (circumambulation). On 12th Dhul-Hijjah, after sunset, the three devils will be thrown again.
After throwing the Jamarat, the pilgrims will leave Mina for their residence. If any pilgrim wants to stay in Mina for another day, they can. On 13th Dhul-Hijjah, they will throw pebbles at the three devils and reach their residence in Mecca.
The obligation of Hajj is complete. Some pilgrims will perform the farewell Tawaf (circumambulation) and go to their homeland, while others will go to Medina to visit the Holy Shrine of the Prophet (PBUH).
