Iran adopted a strategy of turning the talks into theater to buy time so it could develop missiles, Israeli delegate says
New York: Following the statements of the Iranian representative at the United Nations Security Council, Israeli representative Danny Danon has said that the world should thank Donald Trump.
Danon said that the entire world should come here today and say thank you, thank you Donald Trump, for taking action when many were hesitant.
He mentioned that some countries and people in the United Nations have condemned the policies of the United States and Israel, but asked them, where were you when Iran enriched uranium far beyond the limits of civilian use, when it built a fortress under the mountains to prepare for our destruction?
Danny Danon added that the fact cannot be ignored that diplomacy was attempted, but Iran adopted a strategy of buying time by turning the negotiations into a theater so that it could develop missiles and enrich uranium further.
He added that Iran made agreements that it never intended to fulfill.
