US calls Indian claim that Trump had no role in India-Pakistan ceasefire false

The Indian government has consistently claimed that the US had no role in the recent ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

Washington: The US State Department has termed India’s denial of the US role in the ceasefire between Pakistan and India as false and misleading.

State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said in a media briefing that some statements reveal their own truth, and in the modern era, one cannot rely on a single comment to know the truth.

Tammy Bruce said that some opinions are wrong and President Donald Trump has made this issue very clear.

The spokesperson further said that US Vice President JD Vance was also involved in the Pakistan-India talks and his role should be recognized.

This statement has come at a time when the Indian government is continuously claiming that the US had no role in the recent ceasefire between Pakistan and India.

It should be remembered that US President Donald Trump has claimed credit for the ceasefire several times, and he has also been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for this role.
