Babar Azam has proven with his performance and attitude that he is the best batsman of this era, says Hasan Ali
Karachi:
Pakistan team fast bowler Hassan Ali said that Babar Azam proved with his performance and attitude that he is the best batsman of this era, we all called him the “King”.
In an exclusive interview with Pakistan cricket’s largest website “Cricket Pakistan”, Hassan Ali said that although he unfortunately could not win the trophy, he is considered one of the best captains of Pakistan.
He once again explained his famous phrase “King Karle Ga” and said that this phrase did not just come from the tongue but from the heart. Big players like Virat Kohli, Kane Williamson, Steve Smith and Joe Root praise his batting. If you ask someone whether Babar’s cover drive is better or Kohli’s, most people prefer Babar.
Hassan Ali said that Babar and I made our debuts at the same time. I saw them rise in cricket, score runs and work hard. He is the king of Pakistan cricket.
In response to a question, the fast bowler said that in the future he may leave T20 or ODI, but as long as he is fit, he will not leave Test cricket.
Hassan Ali said that the difficult times I have seen and the hard work I have put in are now paying off. During the T20 Blast in England, my bowling rhythm is good and my fitness is also great. Everything is going in the right direction.
He said that my responsibility is to perform, while joining the team is at the discretion of the PCB, captain and management. I had a discussion with the coach and captain, they gave me a clear plan which I am following.
The fast bowler said that the team management has given me positive and clear instructions for the future. When a player gets a clear message from the management, he gains confidence. Although the pressure also increases, it is a matter of happiness for me to have things clear.
To a question, Hassan Ali said that I want to play all three formats. In T20, there is less pressure along with money and glamour. There are many leagues around the world. If you play 3 or 4 in a year, you can earn a lot of money. However, if you ask me, red ball cricket is my love. I may retire from T20 and ODIs, but as long as I am fit, I cannot even think of quitting Tests. Performing in Tests is the real test.
