Linking the performance of young players to India’s (shooting down of French Rafale aircraft)
Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) President Tariq Bugti has made an interesting statement on the Green Shirts’ defeat of France in the Nations Cup final.
A video of the PHF President is going viral on social media platforms, in which instead of talking about the players’ daily allowance, he is linking the amazing performance of the national hockey players to India’s (French aircraft shooting down Rafale).
Tariq Bugti said in his statement that during the Indo-Pak war, the army shot down Rafale aircraft and Pakistani players shot down French players on the field! For which some people are criticizing him on social media.
The sports analyst said in his tweet that the President of the Hockey Federation, who is silent on the daily allowance of the players of the Pakistan hockey team, is making fun of the players, he should boost the players’ morale at this time or make useless statements, he said that giving the players daily allowance is not enough.
Former player and coach Adnan Zakir criticized the PHF president and said that it is truly sad to see that incompetent people are leading our national sports.
Earlier, news had emerged that the players of the Pakistani team participating in the ongoing Nations Hockey Cup in Malaysia were not even given daily allowance by the federation.
Later, the PHF president, while talking exclusively to Express News, said that raising the issue of daily allowance during the tournament is an attempt to divert the players’ attention from the game.
